During the afternoon session, we will pause to reflect on the passing of John Dam.
As a Masters swimmer with ZIGNEA, he was a familiar face in the Masters world. In addition to being an active open water swimmer, he regularly served as an official at the poolside. For many years, he was the driving force behind the organisation of the ZMC competitions in Emmeloord.
He was known as a Masters swimmer who hardly ever missed a training session and always stood up for the interests of the Masters within ZIGNEA. He was a frequent visitor to De Wellerwaard.
On behalf of all Masters swimmers, we thank him for his commitment and dedication to Masters swimming.
We wish his wife, sons, family, friends and acquaintances much strength and courage during this difficult time.
