Masters showcase sportsmanship and top performances in Maastricht at the ONMK short course From 20…
Over the next four days, Masters swimmers are welcome at the Geusseltbad in Maastricht for the 22nd Open Dutch Masters Championships short course. The event is organised by MZ&PC Maastricht, which is proudly celebrating its 90th anniversary this year in collaboration with the KNZB Masters Swimming Task Force. It promises to be a celebration with the 90-year-old MZ&PC Maastricht.
Hubert Mackus, Alderman for Sport of the municipality of Maastricht, paid a visit during the 1500m freestyle. He had the honour of presenting the medals to the winners of the men’s event.
During this ceremony, the women began their longest distance of the tournament.
Katrien Delaender (D55+) swam a Belgian Masters record in a time of 19:31.83.
Lidia van Bon-Rosenbrand improved the Dutch Masters record in the same age category with a time of 20:16.30.
Micky Grulms (W50+) swam a Luxembourg Masters record in a time of 19:52.97.
Viktoria Haden-Felfoldi (D40+) improved the Hungarian Masters record to 18:35.74.
Rebecca Dany (D20+) swam a German Masters record in a time of 16:48.18.
